I am having 2 weddings & was wondering what do we tell the priest?

My fiance is Irish and I am Australian. We plan on a catholic church wedding in Australia in 2009 but we are marrying in a registry office in Ireland this year. I am wondering if this will be a problem for the priest? Will we still be able to sign a marriage certificate in Australia? A main concern for me is that I want the Australian wedding to be seen as the first. I realse legally our irish marriage is the only one used and the 2nd marriage is only really a renewal of vowels, but can we get away with "pretending" it to be the first?
