Hell is a place where the torment is eternal and where there is more and more capacity to withstand the pain?

Correct? Isn't this imagery enough to make the unbeliever bow down, mourn for his sins and beg for forgiveness? The Bible says that you either turn, or you burn. Luke 13:3
